The Yale Environmental Sustainability Summit (YESS) will engage Yale alumni, faculty, staff and students, as well as world-renowned experts, practitioners and scholars in the environmental realm, on new techniques and technologies to transform its use of Food, Energy and Water. As we plan the conference, we are gauging interest for partnerships with like-minded individuals and groups across campus. Opportunities for involvement include but are not limited to:

  • Engaging with alumni and honorary guests at the frontlines of addressing sustainability in society
  • Volunteering before or during the event to help with logistics and activities such as registration or welcoming conference speakers and alumni to campus
  • Potential to help coordinate and/or moderate a panel on a topic that interests you
  • Opportunities to provide feedback on the agenda and help shape the dialogues at the conference through social media

We anticipate that more than 300 Yale alumni will attend and actively participate in this interactive event, many of whom are prominent leaders in their fields. This represents an incredible opportunity to network with potential future employers and to have one-on-one discussions with experts in sustainability, energy, food, and water.
