Tom O’Shea has been the Director of Field Operations for The Trustees of Reservations since 2013. In collaboration with partners, specialists, and property managers, Tom has led a number of new stewardship initiatives to drive and support achievement of sustainability, resource integrity, and stewardship excellence across the organization. These include the development of innovative, stewardship systems, standards and assessments, property and capital planning approaches, and data-driven performance metrics. Tom has over 20 years experience in natural resource, forestry, and wildlife conservation in Massachusetts and holds a MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, a Masters of Forestry from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and a B.S. in Forestry from the University of Maine.
